What is a guest post?

A guest post is a post that is written on someone else’s blog. 

How does guest posting work?

You write a post and submit to me for preview. After it’s been approved, your post will appear on my blog with a link back to you. 

How often can I guest post?

You can guest post as much or as little as you like.

Do you have a guest post list?

Guest posting is new on Bookstanista. If you would like to be a recurring guest poster, you can choose that option on the submission form.

What are the requirements?

An original post with new content must follow the guidelines below.

  • Minimum 200 words
  • 2-4 photos
  • A link to you blog at the beginning of the post.
  • Date you want your post to appear.  Note: Guest posts are Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday only. 
  • Submitted at least 2-3 weeks before your scheduled post date.

What is the incentive program?

The incentive program is a point system. Guest post accrue points for posting. Points can be turned in for gift cards at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Books A Million, Kobo, or VISA.

How does the point system work?

Guest posters receive points for posting, comments on their post, shares, and traffic. The more comments, shares, and traffic, the more points accrue. In the case of Instagram, the more likes, the more points.

How do points accrue?</strong >

1 point for every hundred words

2 points for shares

2 points for listeners

3 points for comments

4 points for traffic

5 points for Instagram likes

10 points for each new follower on Bookstanista. (Followers mist comment on your post that they follow Bookstanista and must remain a follow for 3 months without unfollowing.)


How and when can points be cashed out?</strong >

Points can be redeemed at

300 points for $25

600 points for $50

1200 points for $75

Do points expire?

Points expire every two years or at second redemption of 1200 points.
