Just A Thought Rambling Recap

Resources for Victims of Abuse

Since my reading of three books now that talk about life issues, sexual, domestic, abuse and suicide, I wanted to get a list of resources on my blog.

Whether you need them, know someone that does or you’re not sure, they’re here.

As someone who suffered from deep episodes of chronic depression and been the victim of emotional abuse, I can’t stress enough how important it is to have resources.

It can be frightening reaching out to strangers when you just want to stay in the familiar.

My story may be different or similar to yours. I can honestly tell you the one step I took was getting help. I’ve had many people help me along the way. Some I met by random chance, others came into my life when I needed them most.

I hope you know that you aren’t alone. It will feel that way. It will feel bleak like there’s no end or lights in all the darkness but I promise you, there is. That path will only last as long as you let.

Stay strong. When the wind blows, it’s not to knock you over but to show you how strong you’ve become!

I hope if you’re in an a situation you find the courage and strength to reach out to any of the agencies below.
