Confessions of a Klutz (Confessions #1)

Confessions of a Klutz
Confession One: I was a klutz. I thought I’d grow out of it, but evidently I didn’t. It’s not fun to look like a fumbling toddler when you’re twenty-six. Confession Two: I had a standing appointment at the local ER. It wasn’t by choice that I knew all the doctors names—it was necessity. But that was about to change. Confession Three: I hated the sun yet I lived in LA where it always shone. I…

How many times can a person scream “no” while having a temper tantrum in their bed, trying not to wake their husband or fall on the floor?🤨

You see, I’m a klutz, accident prone and I tend to blame it on my surroundings (i.e. the ghost that pushed me down the stairs or the magical door that slammed into me at Publix in the freezer section).

Viking (that’s my husband) likes to tell me he’s going to bubble wrap me. Ha!

Could you imagine seeing a woman walking around in bubble wrap?

Confessions Of A Klutz instantly became a “cant put it down because I’m laughing so hard” book. I finished it in one day (hence the temper tantrum) and didn’t want it to end.

Like Violet Scott, I’m a klutz and tend to injure myself in some way or fashion.

Violet is sent to New York to be a temporary personal assistant for the owner of Taylor Industries.

Her first day there and she’s already fallen into klutz mode.

Her boss of bosses, Axel Taylor is hard on the outside but once he gets to know Vi, nothing will stop this powerful man for falling for a klutz.

Unbeknownst to Vi, her old boss in California has set her up. The grudge she holds against  Axel bleeds into Vi’s life.

What I loved about this story is I totally relate to Vi (minus the cat, I have rabbits and dogs). It was funny, actually it was extremely hilarious! I laughed so hard my daughter kept asking me what was so funny. Even Viking thought I’d lost my mind.

It ended faster than I wanted. It’s what happens when books suck you in. You want them to keep going forever.

I did wonder what happened to Delia, Vi’s boss from California. After all, she got what she thought was revenge though I’m not sure how she thought she was hurting Vi.

It’s a mystery I hope is solved in book 2.

For now, I’ll have to wait until the next series to see what mischief Vi has done to herself!

Here’s to the bubble wrap twins! Long live the Klutzes!
