no-book-cover-available
You’ll find exclusive excerpts of seven titles due for publication during the months of July and August in this sampler. Begin with a darkly comic novel, French Exit, from bestselling author Patrick deWitt about a wealthy widow and her adult son who flee New York for Paris in the wake of scandal, then read Kristan Higgin’s funny novel about women’s body image and friendship, Good Luck With That. Ottessa Moshfegh follows up her Booker-nominated novel…

This will probably will one of my shortest reviews. Normally, I search for books by combing through the thousands of eBooks, looking for the one that appeals to me.

I decided to try Buzz Books July/August list this time. Though this review is extremely late given its nearly the end of August, that didn’t stop me from soaking up the books on the list.

Books are separated by type such as Nonfiction, Commerical Fiction, Debut Fiction and so forth. It’s a bit chaotic looking on the Kindle.

For example, many of the entires are right on top of each other in the format of

author, title (publisher, publish date).

If you’re looking for cover visuals you won’t find many. In fact only sixteen covers appear in the entire book with two covers only appearing with the authors name and title.

The book breaks down as new release listings 1%-11% (including some book covers) and excerpts 11%-98%.  There are a few blank pages in between.

If you’re curious about the books listed in the beginning you’ll have to look them up individually.

Buzz Books is okay if you’re just looking for something to fill your shelves or add to your seasonal reading list.
