Like most readers when I want to dive deep into a book, I want something believable or as close to believable as possible. I want a world that can pull me in and make we wish I was part of it or leave me wanting more. I want to be so engrossed that I lose all track of time of the real world and never want to leave the book world.

The synopsis won’t give you much except a one line quote,

It was our dance and no one else's

, which doesn’t tell you anything about the book.

I don’t know if that’s intentional or not. I know for some readers it can be a deciding factor on whether they choose to read this book.

Normally, I am NOT a fan of insta anything. It’s too much too soon and too fast. For me, that wasn’t the case with Pas De Deux.

The story is told from Anya’s POV. We really don’t get the POV of the other characters.

Pas De Deux is an insta story about Anya and Lawson Kane. Ballerina and Race car driver.

Once the two meet it’s an instant attraction between the two of them. Lawson Kane is the man wet dreams are made of. He’s the man you make plans and have dreams with and for Anya any sacrifice with Lawson is worth everything.

The book starts off hot and heavy. The theme seems to change from romance to literary fiction midway through the book.

At some points I found Anya’s personality a bit naive. Given her parents that could be why. What I really loved most was the honesty of each character including the supporting characters. There wasn’t any off the wall conversation. You know the kind, were the friend seems the need to blast the other friend but really it’s all for the friend’s benefit? You’ll find none of that here.

There wasn’t much on the ballent emphasis as I’d hope there would’ve been. I’m fact it only seems the first half of the book was actually about Anya and the second part of really Anya and Lawson.

Once I finished the story I keep thinking, this can’t be it. There has to be more. There is more. I can’t give away the story or the ending.

All I can say is there have been very few books that have left me in the “there has to be more” state.
