Rambling Recap

When You Get Advice, Take It!

I’m a reader. A downright, addicted, obsessive reader. I have more books than I can read in a week on my Kindle reading app and my Kobo is fast catching up.

In between that? I like to write. Sometimes I have a story that I just have to talk out or put down. Occasionally, a character’s words will come out of me. In one such sitaution, it happened. I was chatting with an author in one of my Facebook groups. I replied to a photo she had posted and she thought it was part of a story. It is, an unwritten, unpublished story that’s stuck in my head with no way out.

You see, this author isn’t the first person to tell me I should write. I belonged to a writing group six years ago. I live, breathed, eat, and slept writing. I wrote as the character, from the character’s point of view. I love it and even wrote my first novel that sadly perished in my previous laptop.
